LGBTQ Wedding

Every wedding is important to us. It is such a monumental day for our couples. A day that has been fretted about for months or years and in most cases very expensive. It is a day where two people commit themselves to one another for the rest of their lives. But some weddings we cherish a little bit more. And this is such a wedding. This couple, sweet Mary and Anne have been together for 17 years. They have been through the trials of life and family and have maintained their love. To me, this wedding is so much more than the giving of oneself to another. It is the affirming of a family, the celebration of a couple who has lived well and conquered much and are continuing strong.

Mary & Anne had a beautiful Episcopal ceremony with a First Nations Sage blessing. Their daughter Mary Lambert played several songs, one being a surprise from Anne to Mary! Everything about their wedding was sacred and full of emotions. Congratulations Mary and Anne, I am so excited to have been your documentarian!

Fun fact! Couples have taken their first photograph as a married couple outside of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Everett for 105 years!

This elopement is what dreams are made of. My dear friend Jeanne called me  a few days before the wedding, knowing this is exactly something I would love, and she was so right. Elaine is an officiant based out of Seattle who does unique and creative elopements and I cannot say enough amazing things about her or the wonderful service she provides to her clients. She and Jeanne orchestrated this beautiful elopement under Franklin Falls and I was so humbled to be able to take part. Here are just a few of my favorites from our time together.
